This is a great laptop - as long as you read the details and know what you are getting into. If you need a basic, general laptop that has good performance where it counts, consider this machine. The intel HD 3000 graphics are very good, considering it's an integrated GPU. 6 GB of RAM is great. Impressive 3D performance with Sandy Bridge's on-die GPU. it's the best integrated GPU on the market.

I love this laptop. Great value, has twice as much everything as my two year old desktop. Only complaint is where some of the keys are situated.

I was surprised how quiet it was. On idle and low load it is VERY VERY quiet. On full load it does become moderately loud, and the only real noise issue is the cd player which is rather high noise for a laptop cd player when spinning. This coming from someone who has spent over $200 buying quiet fans and fanless psu for his computer to make it shut up, so when I say it is very quiet I mean it. It has some bloatware that can be deleted in 3 minutes. Considering the high quality keyboard, good resolution monitor (but really benefits from a calibration), big hard drive, decent ram, and 1.3megapixel cam, the price is fair at retail, great when discounted.
