This product is well made. And I was able to install it without any tools. But it is VERY expensive. That's why I only gave it 4 stars.

It's perfect! We can now stand directly under our rain style shower head.
It looks great in our newly remodeled 1920 vintage bathroom. It's quick and easy to install--make sure you wrap the teflon tape in the right direction. It's not a bad idea to check for possible leaks after you use it the first time, as the tiniest leak, if undetected, can create a good deal of wall damage.

This shower arm extension is of very high quality and easy to install. It is a must have for tall people and much nicer on the eyes than other types of extensions that attach to the existing shower arm. It also beats hiring a plumber to move up the existing outlet. Very satisfied (although the hard plastic package is a beast to open).
