I love this saw! I have been cutting firewood with it as large as 7 inches in diameter with ease. This product is well worth the money. My neighbor who prunes truck loads every season, asked me to order him one, so I did.

This saw is excellent for cutting tree branches. The teeth are sharp and effective. It is the hand version of the Hayate pole saw. I have gotten another handsaw first, from Silky, the Big Boy, and the Sugoi is far superior.

I do trail work in Shenandoah National Park, teach pruning techniques, and use this on my property. This is absolutely the best hand saw I have ever used. It makes short work of small trees and branches. In fact I have used it on trees up to 7 inches in diameter with no problem. There are many times I prefer it over my chain saw. I burn over a cord of firewood every year in my wood stove, and I cut 75% of the wood I use with this saw.
